I'd have to say the new dairy free, soy free tub of butter. My poor baby hadn't had butter in months and month when this came out, and he actually ate a spoon full almost on every bite of bread and potatoes for awhile. LOL! Oh and also the mixes, since I can't bake everything from scratch yet...like cakes.
Hi there, new here. My name is Tarrah and LO is almost 10months old. She has a cows milk protein allergy. As we are getting closer to her 1st birthday I am scrambling to find a way to provide a cake at her birthday.
What is the brand of these allergy free cake mixes that you are talking about? Also, what about icing? Any assistance would be sooo grateful.
What I have done for Icing before is found plain baking chocolates that are ok(I can't remember the brand; just in the baking isle I read ingredients til I found one). If you melt that and then let it harden a bit it will work for icing: not perfectly but it works. for us, I add a little cool whip for texture; but I'm not sure what you could add..maybe marshmellows? Idk. I can't remember the name of the cake mix..I will check when I get home(@work right now.)
