I was told yesterday that the flu shot has egg products in it. I haven't confirmed that with a doc or anything; but I didn't even think about it when I took DS in for a well check and he got his flu shot. I felt bad until I realized..........NO REACTION So either it doesn't have enough to make him break out or we have *finally* started to outgrow some of this stuff. Just wanted to share

I have heard that too. My grandma got sick from the egg in it one year and she's not even allergic to eggs. I have never gotten one and Nate just got his first one last year. We all may be getting them this year though

Send a message via AIM to i3ai3ydanny
It does contain egg albumin or something like that but unless there is an ANA reaction there is little to no concern about the egg in the vax.

I knew there was egg in it... I haevn't yet tried eggs with DD as when I was nursing her she broke out in hives when I ate them... guess I should try them again soon before we go get the flu shot!
