I like them both but I have to say Whole Foods is better for food allergies. You have more options there. I have to say prices for Trader Joe's is so much better. I am surprised how inexpensive things are there. However, if you have worries of cross contamination, there are issues of "Made on shared equipment..." and "Made in a facility that processes..."

Where are you in Jersey? There's also Wegman's that good for finding allergen free foods.

I'm just jealous that you have those options!! Around here is nothing but basic grocery chains. But our Kroger is really really good and will even order stuff if we ask.

Wegman's is my go to place for food shopping. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are both 45+ minutes trips - not fun with 3 kids - so we only get to go once in a while with DH.

same here.. 3 kids makes it hard to find the time.. especially since I am nursing, but he gets a bottle of my breastmilk every evening.. so I figured I would go after the feeding before that.. at least once to stock up lol

the only thing i have around here by me is a store called "supreme health" which sells gluten free products as well as kosher items (it's run by a jewish family). i've ordered food online through navan (which is out of virginia beach, va).
