I made some gluten-free, vegan bread, with a bean flour mix I put together, from a recipe book. Let me tell you ladies, it was really good! It has a very simliar texture to wheat bread, except it was a bit sweeter and the top of the crust was almost pastry like. It was great! I am going to make more and also try a vegan, gluten free cookie mix I bought.

Yum!

Did you use a bread machine, or did you do it the old fashioned way? I would love the recipe, my dh & I are trying to cut wheat out of our diet-not because of an allergy, just because it's an unhealthy food.

I did not use a bread machine, I just stuck it in my Kitchen aide mixer. I will talk about it and probably post the recipe next week. I have company coming in for a few days and will be busy socializing.
