Hi All! I have been active on my DDC board but just saw this board here. I would like to join. We found out our DD has a peanut allergy in Jan. and she is a little over 2. Well, peanut allergy & asthma which we were not surprised by the asthma (DH has it), but the peanut allergy caught us off guard. It was a scary moment since I had tried to introduce peanut butter and peanut butter cookies to her (in small doses) but she never really acted as though she liked it. Guess she knew and we did not, thank goodness.

Anyway, nice to meet you all!

Welcome! My oldest DS has several food allergies. His highest allergens that we have to strictly avoid are milk, eggs, peanuts, and tree nuts. He is also mildly allergic to wheat and soy but can tolerate them in small amounts.

I'm so glad you joined us! We have a great group here I'm Jenna, have 2 boys, Toby(3) and Logan(almost 2). T is allergic to soy, peanuts, eggs, dairy and red40(dye). His symptoms are slowly easing off(knock on wood!) but it is still a pain. Logan seems to just have a med allergy right now(penicillin confirmed), and maybe eggs.
