He is over the flu but it has royally trashed his lungs again. He is on Xopenex every 2 hours round the clock, pulmicort every 12, Advair 2 puffs 2x daily, singulair, and oropred and still not getting any better so far. His allergy testing is on 2/14 but if his lungs aren't better by then we will have to postpone it again...this time until mid to late march.

Hi there.. My son has asthma too so I can relate..

Have you thought about doing a blood draw?

My son had both skin and blood results.. Both had similar diagnoses.. Allergic to Soy,Peanuts, Egg Whites, and Cat.. Moderate to Dog and low for milk..

He already has confirmed allergies to Eggs, milk, soy, tomatoes, carrots, red 40 and cinnamon. None of these are supposed to be ANA. He had an ANA reaction in December and we keep having to put off testing to find out what that reaction was to. We have to 100% avoid tree nuts and eggs...which he could have contamination and less than 2% before...as well as annatto. It is just getting more complicated the longer we have to avoid all of them...
