Danny added another food to his list of allergies... Beef. We had been replacing the chicken we eliminated last sunday with beef. Initially we were rotating and getting a lot more peanut butter than beef but when we started traveling he pretty much settled on beef bologna for lunch and dinner as well as a few snacks in between. Day one he complained that his tummy hurt little tiny. Day two he whimpered a little at various points during the day. Morning of Day three...he woke up crying that his tummy hurt. We called the allergist and he said that since he had a 2+ last skin prick test and then these symptoms that we need to avoid it too. We will need to stay off of chicken and beef for at least a month and replace them with turkey and ham which are okay so far. After a month we will re-evaluate what to do, if anything. He may be able to tolerate a rotation diet (Chicken one meal Monday, beef one meal tuesday, etc) but we will have to see how it works out when we are able to start that. Wheat is still at the front of our minds but we are really trying to keep it in if at all possible...
