Hi girls, my youngest DD (6months) has a dairy allergy and we've been told she is to be dairy free until 18 months then we can start trying her with small things to see how she goes.
Anyway... I have a question. We have recently started introducing some foods (pears,mango,butternut squash etc) that's all great but what do other dairy free moms give their LO for breakfast? Most if not all breakfast stuff here contains milk.
This is all new to me as my daughter has no allergies.
Personally I only gave fruits for breakfast. I didn't introduce grains until they were 18+ months.
BUT there is always almond, rice, and coconut milks - that's what we use in our household on a daily basis instead of cow milk (for everyone - not just the dairy allergy/sensitive kids). (Though I didn't use rice until later and then usually only in baked goods and whatnots.)
