I had abundant ewcm on wed/thurs.....but my cervix was very low and firm. Now today, the cm is starting to dry up but I felt my cervix and it is very high and very soft. (I can never tell if my cervix is open or closed...it always feels open to me)

I still have a little bit of ewcm, but it is not much AND nothing like wed/thurs.....

So my question is, how well is cervical position in determining ovulation???

Cervical Mucous is much better. It isn't the quantity of CM that determines fertility it is the quality of it. CP can change through the day. I used to use that, but it seems to have a mind of it's own so I now omit it.

I've been reading the the cm is better and the ewcm was at its best quality-wise on wed/thurs.

I wish my body would just be textbook: ewcm, cervix hso......but instead it seems to be days apart.

I'm hoping that the cervix thing is a good sign because we didn't get to bd on wed or thurs because of life and things beyond our control.

The cervix can fluctuate in one day, so it's the most difficult sign to interpret. It takes a lot of time to get to know what's normal for your cervix and learn to recognize what the changes all mean. It's not even something we recommend with BOM because the evidence given by the mucus is completely adequate by itself. I don't teach the cervix sign or use it.

I've always had a hard time interpreting the differences between the cervix because everytime I check it...it seems to be low and firm, but today there was no mistaking it. I won't think too much into it.
