Hi ladies! It's been awhile since I was here. After months of waiting I finally ovulated on day 138 of my cycle. So now I am about 8 dpo and my temps have dropped down to the coverline again. What does this mean? Does it matter? I was under the impression that they would stay high until AF came. Am I going to have a short LP? I'm not sure what to think. Any help is appreciated!
Usually when the temps drop below the coverline it means that AF is coming. I am not sure how old your youngest is, but short LPs are common for a few cycles after baby as well. I would expect you to start AF soon.
I usually have a dip around the time implantation would be happening (between 5-10 dpo) and have in the last year plus gotten AF despite it. I usually have a "normal" LP but the tail end of it is usually riddled with spotting. Is it your first cycle charting?
AJ (age 7) & Katie (age 2.5) PM to see if I am available to make a siggy - decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
Well, here's the thing. I think my coverline should be at 97.4 but for some reason the website I'm using (ivillage) has put it at 97.5. For the last couple mornings my temp has been 97.5. So in my books, it's not quite down to the coverline but close....I just expected it to be higher. I guess I will see where it's at tomorrow morning. This is my first cycle charting but I haven't been having cycles at all since October. And my baby is 11 months old.
