Type of training irrelevant, we didn't follow it. And that didn't work. LOL

I did the online training for BOM - it worked to TTA - not working yet to TTC.

I've used the FAM method to TTA and TTC and it worked both times.

Before we had #2, we thought we knew what we were doing - but we didn't. So we took a course after #2 was born and it's been effective when we needed it to be since then.

We follow the CCL textbook, symto-thermal method. We are self-taught but after #1 made a mistake and got pregnant when DD was about 10 months old. We've been a lot more careful since #2 came along.

Well, my DD is only 5 months old so I don't really have a success or failure story yet. But I would LOVE to hear more success stories. I'm not feeling very confident right now. I guess I'm getting antsy since I haven't had my first post partum period back yet.

Don't worry, that's normal while BFing. Even if it came back earlier last time, each BFing experience is different! Hang in there! Confidence is something that comes gradually it seems, but definitely stick close to your teacher if you're anxious! Consistent follow up helps prevent errors while you're learning. Of course, we're always here for second opinions too! There's no such thing as too much re-assurance, is there?

I read TCOYF. The one cycle we didn't follow the rules we had our miscarriage (so it worked for achieving too). The rest of the cycles we followed the rules and we have not had a pregnancy in the over 2 years we have been exclusively using FAM.
I wish I did a course because the learning curve would have been a lot less if I had an instructor.
