I'm obviously new here and right now my DH and I are NTNP. We are hoping to TTC in August and I am really just learning about my body and cycle until then. That being said, we will not be upset if it happens sooner. We're both planners, so we try, but a child is a blessing and we would never be upset to have another. I'm not sure I really want more than 3, but if it's meant to be, it will be.
I've been charting this cycle and I'm very intuned to my body. I almost always know when I'm going to ovulate. I've been pregnant 3 times (2 kids) and we've never really actually "tried". We have been very blessed with this - I'm not ignoring that fact.
After my NCB with Dean, I have recently become more "natural" minded and just don't think I want to take hormonal BC at all. DH HATES condoms with a passion, to the point that we don't DTD if I ask him to wear one. So, I'm wanting to learn more about NFP for now until when we decide to TTC.
We use the Billings Ovulation Method of NFP. We tried two other forms of NFP and settled on Billings because it was the simplest to use with my complicated cycles, and it required the least amount of abstinence without compromising it's effectiveness for TTA. I also trained as an instructor in this method.
