Do you record the most fertile or the most abundant? Also, what about the sensation. If I feel dry most of the day with a tiny bit of CM that makes me feel stick or gooey, which one do you record?

Always record the most fertile observation, not the most frequent or most abundant. That includes sensation.

In this case, you would record "sticky" or "gooey" for sensation - even if you were dry the whole rest of the day.

If you are never completely dry (nothing felt, nothing seen) - after 3 charted cycles, you can determine what your infertile discharge is (known as Basic Infertile Pattern of Discharge with BOM).
