I feel kind of silly but today I am not really sure what sensation I am feeling...is that even possible lol?! I am having very light spotting, the lightest I've had since having my baby. It's just a teeny little bit. I definitely feel like something is present but when I check there is nothing, not even blood. I have been feeling very wet but I was also having heavier bleeding. Today I definitely feel much different than I have been but it's not dry or sticky. Should I still put wet? I'm so hoping this will get more clear cut once I'm definitely done w/ all the postpartum bleeding!
Are you checking with your hand or just observiing the feeling or sight when you wipe? I don't check with my hand - Shawna says it can cause problems.
I just observe feelings and when I wipe. What I would put (are you doing it online?) is dry but mark in the notes box that you had spotting. You can be dry and still spot - I have done it (almost every month).
AJ (age 7) & Katie (age 2.5) PM to see if I am available to make a siggy - decisions will be made on a case by case basis.
If you feel like something is present...then you're not dry. Dry means you feel like nothing is present. But if it's just a minimal sensation and much less than what you would call a "wet" sensation - then feel free to call it moist or damp or something like that. You can even call it "not dry" if you want.
And don't stress too much about it! Observing sensation takes some practise, you'll get used to it!
