When do I start to chart again? I'm still having some PP bleeding, so I obviously wait until after that stops. But how do I know if it's an actual period or just more PP bleeding. I didn't start charting until WELL after Caleb was born, so I have no idea when to start.
You can wait until the PP bleeding stops. If you are nursing and meet the conditiosn for LAM, you can start charting whenever you no longer meet the conditions for LAM. Or when your PP bleeding stops you can start in order to establish your Basic Infertile Pattern, but no need to follow the rules while you're still in LAM if you don't want to.
with Gaby, I created a new chart for the day that I gave birth - to keep track of days more than anything & then I started tracking my CM when my PP bleeding stopped. I wasn't breastfeeding, so my period returned 28 days after I gave birth
