So ALL my friends, whether they have gotten pregnant while on birth control, or have major issues from it, still use it. Well, actually I just got my one best friend to look into BOM but other than that nada. It seems to me like at least where I am no one my age even knows about NFP but I know some older women who do. Is it just my area or my generation or what?? How old are you ladies?

I'm 22. I had never heard of NFP before I was talking to my sister about going off the Pill. She recommended reading TCOYF, and I love it! I'm still really new to it, so I haven't really talked to any of my friends about it.
* On a funny side note... DH and I were out last night with some friends of ours. Someone made a joke about dtd, and DH said "That's okay, I know I'm not getting any tonight." A girlfriend of mine says "Oh, that time of the month?" to which DH replies, "Well sort of but not THAT time. She takes her temp every morning and knows when she can get pregnant. Apparently she can right now. I think it's just another 'I'm tired' or 'I have a headache' excuse."
So, like him, a lot of my friends would probably be very skeptical about any BC that isn't mainstream medical.
