I know stress and changes in nursing patterns can affect CM. I had both kids by myself while my husband was gone for 2 nights. I know, it's only 2 kids but my 19 mo. old puts a whole new meaning to the "terrible two's" and the baby is still nursing every hour to two hours during the day, and up twice at night. I was WAY stressed and nursing more since hubby wasn't there to do the couple feedings he usually does.

The 2 days I had them by myself I was very wet. My BIP is practically dry. Now that hubby is back, today I'm back to my BIP.

Question is, does stress affect CM immediately? Do you think it was just coincidence that I had the change or was it most likely related?

Could be stress and it can be pretty immediate. But it could also have just been a little rise in estrogen too, so just count 3 BIP days and you're good to go.
