I just got a job offer from a Las Vegas school, not the one that was previously supposed to interview me, this one is a middle school, but I got a job offer. I of course would rather stay where my family and house are, but the jobs just aren't here, though I'm sorta hoping they will be next year, and then I'll have experience for the job. However, I'm thinking I'm going to take the job and move my butt to Las Vegas! Yay for job offers!

Congrats! Are you selling your house? How does your DH feel about the move? Will there be more opportunities for him in Las Vegas as well?

I want to live here, so my hope is that Las Vegas will be a way of getting me back here. I'm hoping that after a year teaching there will be a spot open for me now that I'll have had actual time in the classroom, my own classroom that is. So we're planning to rent out the house. A few things have to be done before that can happen, so we need to get working on those.
DH is excited, but thinks this is chaotic, as do I.
There will certainly be opportunities there for him that aren't here for him. However, he went back to school for the first time in years and years on Monday, so we're left with several complications about what to do. There are a million questions to answer, it is very complicated, but I'm just trusting God will help us find the answers.
