Is this normal? Question about cm & dtd

So... please tell me if this is normal. I've noticed that for about 3, sometimes 4, days after DH and I dtd my cm completely dries up. Is this normal? I've looked in my TCOYF book and have read NOTHING about this, so it's making me wonder if it's just me that has this going on?!

So you have CM before DTD, and then it goes away after? (Are you TTA or TTC?) I've heard people say they feel noticeably drier the next day, but not a few days. Maybe it's just normal for you.

yes. And I looked on my chart, it's usually about 2-3 days of dry after dtd.

Anyway... I think it's because I'm coming off the Pill. Granted, I've been off of it since April, I'm pretty sure this is the reason. I found in the TCOYF book 2 pages about coming off hormonal BC and what it can do. Most of everything on those 2 pages is exactly what's going on with me. I just assumed it wouldn't take this long for the BC to be out of my body, and for me to be back to "normal."

You're not alone. Most people don't realize how long the recovery can take.

The cervix is a very delicate organ, it takes a while to heal completely.

ok. thanks Shawna! I've said it before, but I'm so glad I'm off it now. I can't believe I was never informed of the risks, and I REALLY can't believe my gyno told me point-blank that everything would be normal as soon as I stopped the pill.
