I've been back to work for a month now. I am gone for about 15 hrs. twice a week, and 9 hours once a week. During those days I only am able to pump about 2 times. Needless to say 2 weeks ago my chart went crazy, and I keep having fertile signs only to go back to my BIP for 2, maybe 3 days but NEVER 4 before I get more fertile CM. I'm getting so frustrated.
My instructor said it's totally normal. She said we could only avoid on the potentially fertile days and not count 3 after but it would obviously increase pregnancy risk. So that's completely out of the question. The only thing we can do is stick it out because I'm not going to stop breastfeeding and I'm not gonna stop pumping. Will my body adjust and level out to this new breastfeeding routine? Any experience w/ this phase of "fertility"?? Thanks!!
