I have 2 questions for you, one's on topic and one is off topic.

I'm going to have this new baby when LJ is almost 15 months old. I had told myself I wanted to bf him til 18 months, I haven't decided though for sure if I still want to do that since when I told myself that I had said no way no how was I willing to even consider having a baby for a while, cuz I was pregnant then and I don't do well at being pregnant. Anyway, if I DO continue how does nursing two kids effect fertility? Does that make the breastfeeding 6 months of infertility null and void?

And my other question is if I PM you the e-mail of a friend who I think you might be able to help out a little bit, would you be willing to talk to her?

There is no proof that tandem nursing offers *extra* infertility. As long as your newborn is getting all meals at the breast (no pumping, supplementing,etc) and you have no spotting/bleeding past 56 days PP - you can still count on LAM for the first 6 months if you are tandem nursing.

OK, good to know, still trying to decide what to do, but I thought I might try to actually follow LAM until I go back to work (which will before the baby is 6 months) but hopefully when he is about like 4 or 5 months old...lots of details to work out before then.
