Do any of you have a big age gap between you and your DH? I am 36 and DH will be 55 the end of this month. Anyone else?

Funny you said that because DH is a year younger than my mother and 6 months older than my dad.

Ok good, cuz after I posted that I thought - wait a minute. Lariena doesn't know my sense of humour, what if that comes out sounding really rude? It was meant to be funny.
So how did you guys meet? How did your parents feel about the age difference at first?

Not here. Jordan and I are 5 months apart. He was born Sept '75, and I was born Feb '76.
Yeah, I was also curious what your folks though of that one. I guess in the end, it doesn't matter as it was your choice, but I know if I did something like that, my parents would definitely question my choice. LOL

There are a few years between DH - I am 27 and DH is 30.

DH is 2 years older than me. I love it, because as long as I'm with him I'll always be the young one.

We met when I was in college. I worked nights and would often go by the only place that was open that late - a casino. He worked there at the time. I ended up going to work there too because my scholarship was running out and the casino paid 90% of my tuition. My parents were ok with me dating him. They trust me. I don't think they ever thought it would last! I am pretty mature for my age (even at 21) and DH is REALLY immature for his so we are a pretty good fit!
The family joke is that I "messed up" because I married an older man who DIDN'T have any money. DH gets along well with everyone because they are all his age! LOL Sometimes I feel left out when they talk about music and such since there is such a generation gap...but it is really no big deal.
After 15 years together and 3 beautiful children, my whole family sees how happy
we are!
