Definitely. I probably won't teach them all the rules or how to chart in great detail, but I do want them to understand the biology of what's happening with their bodies. It's normal to be irregular during those first few years of menstruation too, so I think it would be helpful for them to keep a simple CM record in order to predict their periods and not be caught off guard. I would have loved to know how to do that, surprise AF is the worst when you're a teen! My Mom taught me just a tiny bit about ovulation and CM when she was explaining puberty/menstruation. I plan to explain just a little more than that.
