Still pregnant. And overdue at that. I'm at the point where I just don't want to try anything else, lol. I'm so tired of TRYING to get her out of me. Now I'm just hoping she won't share a bday with Seamus!

Seamus came home last night from spending the weekend at my parents'... and unfortunately he caught some kind of stomach flu from my mom. He threw up 5 times after my mom dropped him off. She said that her stomach flu and my sister's (that she had last week) each only lasted a day, so hopefully Seamus won't be throwing up today. I felt so bad for him last night.

My moan would be that I'm not done with my stupid conference yet.

My Tuesday moan:

I caught Seamus' stomach flu. Been throwing up all morning.

Have a midwife appt. soon and I'm afraid that they are going to want to induce me because of this flu... but I have zero energy right now to go through labor. I'm also dehydrated... been trying to drink water to hydrate myself, but I just keep throwing it up. Nothing is staying down.

Oh no. I hope you get to feeling better. For sure, all this throwing up will get you to go I'm sure. If not, you're right, the midwife might induce you.

here's hoping that you can still go on your own.

She didn't induce me Which I'm really happy about. I really didn't want to try to go through labor like that. She did strip my membranes though and she's pretty confident (from the other signs I've had) that I'll go into labor in the next 48 hours. I hope she's right!

I'm feeling a little better too. Having ice chips, and they seem to be staying down. Then I'm going to try and drink more water... then Gaterade to get some electrolytes. Then I'm going to try and get some bland food down.

Basically just trying to rehydrate right now.

I'm so glad you're beginning to feel better. Just take it easy, don't do too much since you're still trying to recuperate, plus you'll want all your saved energy for when you go into labor.

KUP on how things go!
