I'm confused, the days RIGHT after your period, do you have to count 3 of BIP or not?

YES, because the bleeding could obscure fertile signs

See, and that's what I thought, but somebody said something about the day right after and I was like, "OK..." I have always counted 3...

Well for me I could see myself DTD at the very end of my period or even the 1 or 2 days after...but only after I have been charting for a long time and pretty much have regular cycles KWIM?

Right now I follow the rules too a T!

I have always followed the rule, but I didn't want to this month, so I didn't...I know I'm still having BIP two days later, so I think I'm in the clear, I understand the thought is like I could have o'd during my period...but I didn't...

Yeah, that's pretty much the thought behind it. I feel like I would know if I O'd during my period because there is NO fertile discharge during my period...no mucus at all that I can tell and it's pretty darn obvious when i O so...

If the period is a true menstruation (preceded by Peak) you DO NOT have to count 1, 2, 3 BIP days. You can use the evening of the first BIP day you observe, even if you're still spotting.

If the period is not a true menstruation (not preceded by Peak), then you must count 3 BIP days in case it's ovulation bleeding.

Oh, exciting, then I didn't break the rules cuz I had BIP, but I had peak for sure...only 10 day leteal phase, but that's 2 cycles in a row, so apparently for right now that's my norm.

Hooray for no broken rules! The rules say you can't use heavy bleeding days because if your mucus starts, you wouldn't know. But once it settles down to light days or just spotting, you can tell whether you have your BIP sensation or not.

Yeah, I was all done with that, I had like one spot of blood in the morning, but I was as dry as I get that day, so I figured I was safe...and let's face it I want a baby anyway, so...but it just isn't time...*sigh*
