I read in the online resources sticky that fertility friend charting should not be used in TTA. Im curious why. Im scheduled to have my Mirena removed this week and this is what I was planning to use. Is there a recommendation for TTA?
Thank you *Kiliki* for my awesome siggy!

FF gives the very basics of fertility charting for the purposes of TTC, but doesn't get into enough detail for being able to use it for TTA. It often interprets things incorrectly - such as saying ovulation has occurred when it actually hasn't.
I'd recommend a program that's actually designed for TTA. Ovusoft is good, it's information goes with the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. CyclePro is good, it goes with the Couple to Couple League Sympto Thermal Method. I use nfpcharting.com because we follow the Billings Ovulation Method.
Here is a comparison of all the different ways to TTA with fertility charting. Once you decide which method will work best for you, use the program that goes along with that method. http://www.catholicmom.com/nfp_methods.pdf
