Ummm it's been a long time. I vaguely remember hearing about it during one of my sex ed classes when I was in school.

Well, there was this one woman named Shawna on the BC board in about 2006 that really started making me angry because she was pushing the stupid thing called NFP/FAM when I was getting off of Depo...

The first time I heard of it was when a friend of mine gave me her copy of TCOYF when she heard I was going to be TTC soon.

uh, probably when I joined JM, so almost four years? I was totally one of those people who thought FAM or NFP meant "letting god decide" though

Well lets see I've been on this board for a yearish. So i'd say that long. When I was ttc Megan I heard about charting and such but had no idea there was a whole other side to things.

I have no idea. I read tons and research things. I probably found out NFP/FAM was actually valid birth control and not the rhythm method sometime in early college - no idea how - most likely through researching my birth control options. It wasn't a good choice for me at that time, but I kept it in mind for sure! Was required to take a class from the Catholic church to be married there and it was awful, terrible!! I couldn't believe the amount of propaganda and misinformation that came out of that couple. Ugh. But we had already decided to chart after the wedding, else they'd have turned me off it for sure. We've been charting over 4 years.

We learned a little about it when I was in high school, but after I had a horrible experience with Depo in 2007 I knew I would never do birth control again and looking into natural options
