I keep a paper journal about what I do during the day. I was flipping through it while my chart was up..

On Nov 2nd we had the car appointment. I didn't get home until 7:20, which I promptly went back to bed.. and took my temp at 10am because I overslept by 30 min (tcoyf adjusted the temp by .1 degrees for that). I've been sleeping from 5-9:30 every morning with out fail (or not getting out of bed between a and b). I didn't fall asleep right away, so there's no way I got more than 2hrs 15 min of sleep.

I know some of you don't temp.. but what would you do? (keep in mind I woke at 6:45am on the 1st and 2nd to take DH to work and then went back to sleep. I had walked over a mile on the 2nd before I went back to bed for little over 2 hours.

this is what happens if I use "rule of thumb" for interrupted sleep. oh look, there's that eggie, right after two days of ewcm...

I had some spotting. Should I leave my chart unaltered to see if I have a bleeding episode?

Ignore the slew of little clocks. Tcoyf likes to set my time to 7am a few times a week for no reason. I've fixed it since I took the cap.

I'm sorry for the questions girls. I find the tocyf forums to be extremely cold and not overly helfpul.

I was noticing that earlier actually, I think it does look like a possible shift. I think it's hard to be really sure about the CM pattern because it may be disrupted anyway, but I think it's quite possible there was a thermal shift and very short LP there. I'd err on the side of caution only because it is your first month charting and consider the bleed potentially fertile anyway.

Thanks Shawna!

Todays "bleed" was just a tiny bit of spotting when I wiped. Nothing close to AF, but prior to the last two break through bleeds I've had 3-4 days of spotting.. hence why I'd said I figured another was on the way. We'll see if there's more bleeding tomorrow.

My cervix is still really high, I can just touch the bottom lip with my finger, but it's not as soft as it was (I don't always check, i do want to start doing that though).

i'll give it a few more days, then may bump this and we can see what it says.

hmm.. I'm having some flank pain (from the kidney that had the stone)... if it's irritated it could be responsible for the blood too...

the girls on the tcoyf board told me to mark it as disturbed. So, I did...

and of course today my chart looks nothing like last night, the coverline is .4 degrees higher and no eggie.. and that's with out even adding in today's temp (which jumps the cover line to 98.4 for goodness sakes! ARGH.

I'm already feeling warm from high temps! I need to get vaccinations on Sunday which are going to throw my chart out the window (I will have temps of 104 pretty much guaranteed) and I can't put them off any longer!

I figured out the WHOLE problem!

the settings were set to take FAM, ferning, opks etc into consideration for ANY O... well I'm only doing the FAM, so it was waiting for other data.

I removed the other 3 options.. and poof.. O. I could remove all other changes and still get the O on the SAME day as the fiddled version

so WOOT!
