Tithen - TCOYF

I was all excited with the dip in my temp on CD15 and then apparently my body has forgotten what it is supposed to do?

I've had no fertile CM since. No sore BBs. Nothing. I don't know what the heck is going on!

It's not unusual for the temps to lag a bit behind after ovulation occurs. Temps don't tell you the *exact* day, so I wouldn't read too much into individual dips or spikes. It's the overall pattern that counts.

Give it a few more days and things should be more clear!

I hope so. I've still not figured out which box has my book... so I was running blind all cycle. I thought maybe the drama with his family was going to push back my ovulation.. but really I'd love to put the spermicide back in the cupboard for a few weeks!

I thought it might spike today. It was something Shawna said the other day to somebody about them being possibly delayed by 4 days, and I said, that'd be the next temp.

FF has predicted ovulation. It predicted Monday, the day of the spike

tcoyf has not... it looks just as confused as I do... it jumped my cover line way up. at this point I'm so lost. I'm either going to have a short lutal phase or a really long cycle... now I wish I'd have ordered my internet cheapies!

I definitely disagree with FF. One high spike doesn't mean there's a thermal shift, you need a sustained rise. That's probably why TCOYF hasn't given you ovulation yet, it uses calculations that are rooted in actual research about fertility. I agree that your coverline should be much higher than FF has given you. I can't see your TCOYF chart, but going by your FF one I'd put your coverline at about 97.3 or 97.4. TCOYF It also relies on interpreting the CM pattern much more than FF does. I don't exactly know where FF gets it's calculations from.

tcoyf put me at 97.7 for coverline. Hopefully it drops like it did last month.

I was really hoping for a normal cycle.. I have to have a tonne of medical stuff done for immigration (including a possible xray) all starting tomorrow. *sigh*
