Initially, it was just being able to get adequate treatment for my PCOS.

With BOM, the biggest hurdle was figuring out my sensation patterns and learning to trust that the method would work.

right now my biggest struggle is just being patient, waiting for my fertility to return and not stressing about maybe getting pregnant.

I guess I struggled knowing that my cycles are always a few days longer than what is supposedly normal.

Now I am struggling because I know since I pump LAM isn't in effect. So, I am trying to watch CM and learn BOM postpartum with an extreme fear of falling pregnant. Luckily for me, we adhere to FAM rules so we just use protection every time regardless of if I think I am fertile or not. When I KNOW I have fertile CM he stays away from me! NO TOUCHY!

I'm struggling with it all. my charts are strange, and still foreign.. and my body doesn't have two clues. I have to change my temping time AGAIN since we have DSS more now and he has to be up at 7:30 to get ready for school...

I miss the ease of the pill. I don't miss the side effects, but I miss that security blanket.

My biggest problem is separating out CM from everything else (lubrication, spermicide when we were TTA, and semen). Even if we abstain the day after intercourse, I still have trouble the day after that thinking there's still some residue. I does help now that I've gotten better about paying attention to my vaginal sensations, though, because all the other "stuff" feels much different in there than fertile vaginal sensations, at least for me.

My biggest struggle is trust. At the end of every cycle I always have a "oh my gosh what if I'm preggo" moment. Some months its a quick thought and then it doesnt affect me. But others it causes ALOT of anxiety and fear.

Also I'm having a hard time w/ the pre-O charting. Just sorting out what is fertile and what is infertile...the sensation has been changing alot. I guess being only 13mo pp and having alot of medication adjustment just SCREAMS for chart frustration lol!

Right now I don't have any cycle struggles, my fear is messing up after I've had the baby since I want to be done.

PCOS. Sigh. Never knowing when or if I am going to ovulate. It doesn't usually bother me, but now that we're TTC, it does. CD 44 last time.

Biggest struggle is being patient with my body. I am in my 2nd cycle off BCP and I am so so very afraid of not O-ing ever... every month I don't the fear gets worse. I need to chill and let it go. But then I get cramps today for 30 min on the day TCOYF est. O... it send me into a spin of maybe, oh I hope.. and will probably end in disappointment.

Oh and I need to be better and more comfortable and confident in identifying CM. Going to look for a FAM/NFP instructor after the holidays to help.

TTA with DH would would rather DTD anytime he wants. Makes using NFP very difficult (and not getting pregnant). And trusting my body.
