You know, I never think to take my temperature when I am sick or getting sick. I usualy get bad head colds and rarely have a fever. I temp daily for FAM TTA (for now) so next time I am sick I will be curious to see if my temps go up abnormally because of it. I know when I am sick my sleep is disrupted a lot, wake up, blow nose, cough... so that would change temps too.
I monitor my temperature when ever I feel warm to the touch. I've had fevers of 105F+ in the past, and as the doctor at the hospital told me, "if your normal is low 97's, this is medically almost 1.5 degrees higher than for a normal person."
And yes, I temp.

Have you taken your temperature because you thought you were sick ever in 2011? No.
Do you take your temperature for FAM/NFP right now? I'm pregnant, but I'm still taking my temperature since I'm still early on and haven't had my first appt (to hear the heartbeat) yet. I sometimes wish I would put the dang thermometer down though... as any slight "dip" I start to worry. I've been at a steady 98.5-98.8 for weeks, and today I got 98.2.
Before pregnancy though, yes temping is a major part of my charting.
