While we're on the subject of messed up ovulation, somebody told me that drinking too much caffeine could delay O. Does anybody know if there's any truth to this? Are there any kinds of foods or drinks that could mess up ovulation?

I don't know personally. I drink coffee every single day and haven't noticed anything weird..but maybe because I do it every day.

Yeah I have heard that too. I remember reading about it somewhere online and I believe they had a study to support it. However, I think it has to be huge amounts of caffeine equivalent to like coffee like six to eight cups a day.

Even so, I've still cut down on how much I drink to a single cup or less and an occasional diet coke. I know the fake sugars aren't good either so I don't drink them often.

Even one cup of coffee can give me bad anxiety attacks, and I could easily see how it can be stressful enough to delay ovulation. Aside from that, I've never heard anything of the sort. I'm interested in hearing more.

I heard it messes with your estrogen levels and that's what messes things up. I have never noticed it mess with my cycles, but then again, I don't drink a heck of a lot.

I drink little to no caffeine so I've always ignored things about caffeine, sorry.
