On Catholic Parenting we have several people leaving for Lent (that's what they're giving up) and I was just wondering how that was effecting this board, anybody leaving us here?

I'll still be here. I've given up temping for Lent (okay, not really for Lent because I'm not Catholic, but I do periodically "fast" from things that I think are hindering my walk with God, and this "fast" happened to coincide with Lent).

It just started . Ash Wednesday is always the day after Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) so if you hear people talking about that, then Lent is starting.
