Good evening ladies---I have a question...hopefully someone may help. My name is Kristin.

Two Saturdays ago I had ovulation spotting--am and pm, with EWCM. However, all last week and this past weekend, I have had horrible pelvic pain--esp. around my right ovary. I also had EWCM Thursday.

Went to get a u/s today to rule out a cyst--and all is well--nothing serious going on.

Why would I have what I thought was ovulation bleeding, but then feel like I had a week long battle with ovulation? Isn't hte bleeding because the egg was released? This is what i always thought--but now I'm questioning that.

I do the Billings Ovulation Method--but I feel like my body is showing wacky signs. I was over a week late last month and usually my body is right on the ball with cervical mucus signs and relation to ovulating.

Welcome! I'm a Billings Ovulation Method instructor. If you want to send me a PM, I'd be happy to have a look at your chart. I can answer your question better that way! If the EWCM did not reach Peak, then you would not assume ovulation has occurred. The pains could be from another attempt at it. It could be a few other things too, but without the chart it's just a guess!
