I'm due in Feb with my 1st. I plan to be Quiverfull, so my BC method will mostly be LAM. Anyone else using LAM?

I used LAM while I fit the criteria. It was definitely successful in the first 6 months. I am charting again and don't fit the criteria but still no PPAF.

Welcome! I'm Shawna, expecting #6. We're not QF, we rely on LAM as long as I meet the conditions and the Billing Ovulation Method when LAM is no longer effective.

#1 - exclusive BF, AF back at 2 months PP. conceived at 3 months PP.
#2 - exclusive BF, LAM 3 months then NFP.
#3 - exclusive BF, LAM 3 months. Conceived 6 months.
#4 - pumped 6 weeks, no LAM. Conceived 6 months.
#5 - 6 full months of LAM, then BOM for 4 years.

I haven't used LAM yet (obviously), but I'm learning all I can now so I'll be ready PP. We can learn together

Congratulations on the pregnancy. I didn't ovulate for 4.5 months after I had my son, so I guess we used the LAM. Then after that we used the Creighton Model of NFP for 5 years to avoid pregnancy. I always admire quiver full families. I don't have the finances or the health to have pregnancies close together or to have as many children as I want. Props to you for being able to be a quiver full family.
