Do you know how old your mother was when she hit menopause, or did she artificially hit it due to a hysterectomy?

My mom has had a tubal, but not a hysterectomy. I doubt she's even finished menopause yet - she's only 46 this year.

My mom had a hysterectomy around age 40 or 45. I wish I knew when she would have naturally hit menopause so I knew what to expect, but I have no clue.

My mom had a hysterectomy at 53 and wasn't even peri-menopausal. I don't know when that happens in my family. I'm planning on having kids late in life, as well, so I hope I'm a late menopauser.

My mom had a hysterectomy at 29, so I have NO idea when she would have hit menopause.

My mom is in her early 40s and hasn't hit it yet. My youngest sister is 3 years old.

Mine's been done for a while, and she's only 48!! She had a tubal in her early 30's but her hot flashes had already started as soon as she weaned my brother and stayed around for 12 or 13 years. No hysterectomy yet.
My grandmother did require one due to endo, she still has her ovaries and was on hormonal therapy to keep menopause at bay.

My mom had a hysterectomy at 51, but she had to be close to menopause at that point, because it seemed like she started peri-menopause when she was 44 or 45.

My mom still is fertile I'm pretty sure. I don't think she is close to menopause yet, she just turned 43 this year.

My mother was in her early 50s...2005...let's see...she was 51 when she had her hysterectomy. So that's when she went through menopause.
