I'm using the website for charting but we did not learn the STM with this book... I'm a little confused as to how TCOYF sets the coverline. Why would the coverline be moved after I thought I had a temp shift?

It sets a coverline if you have three temps above the previous 6, .1degree above the highest of the low temps. It'll take it away if O isn't confirmed by CM. Also, the TTCOYF software was kind of dodgy in my experience and sometimes just did crazy things for no reason.
I've noticed that TCOYF is kinda weird. I use FF still as a backup chart because I have an app on my iPhone. FF says I've ovulated but TCOYF says I haven't yet, so its interesting to see how the two are so different.
