Usually the website does it for me, but for whatever reason it is refusing today. If I temped exactly two hours early, how would I adjust for a normal waking temp?

I'm hoping Shawna jumps in here... I'm pretty sure it's .1 degrees for every 20 min, so it'd be .6 degrees.

My personal opinion would be to just leave it and mark it as disturbed, rather than adjusting it. But I'm not qualified to offer a professional opinion on this one!

I usually only adjust if the temp meets the following.

1- non important. I will always exclude if it occurs with what I suspect could be O.

2- follows the general pattern. Too high or two low gets excluded because he can wreck havoc on my chart in general.

Thanks for the replies! After researching a little more I found a link on the TCOYF website that said the adjustment is .1 degree (F) for each 30 minutes- upward if early, down if late. What I did, since I'm def. post-O and it doesn't much matter, is I put the adjusted temp on my chart but made a note of the actual temp. That way if it later proves to be out of line I can just go back and mark it disturbed.

Oh, and that's a standard adjustment- I've never tested myself to see if I differ from average, so that's what I'm going by.

i agree with all the other ladies, I use a website to adjust my temps. however, as a personal rule i always exclude temps over 1 1/2 hours before my temp time. so at 2 hours early i would have just discarded it completely.
