What the heck?

My temps are going crazy this month? I have no idea what could be making them be so whacky, the only thing that has changed is last Wednesday we finally got our old bed back so the bed I was sleeping in changed, but it's not like that would affect my temps. Seriously, I would have no idea what was going one with my body if it wasn't for my cm. I'm linking my charts below (for both FF and TCOYF) what do you think?

I really wouldn't worry too much about the bouncy temps. It's the overall pattern that counts. It's not unusual for temps to bounce around a bit after your period, and then even out more as ovulation approaches.

A few things that could affect it though. Do you temp orally and any chance you've slept with your mouth open sometimes? Any alcohol consumption the evening prior to a wacky temp?

I don't drink at all so that's out, and it could be sleeping with my mouth open but I make sure to sleep with 3 pillows behind me so I am propped up and can breath as well as make sure to breath in and out of my nose while falling asleep in order to hopefully stay that way all night.

Oh well, ovulation *should* occur later this week so hopefully things start getting into a pattern by then.

Doesn't matter too much what the temps say right now anyway, they can't tell you anything about each day's fertility or infertility. You'll likely still see your shift when it happens, in spite of the bounciness.

Have you considered temping vaginally for a less bouncy chart?

I'm considering it for next cycle. I haven't temped for a few cycles but before my temps were never this bouncy even though I temped orally so it didn't cross my mind before lol.

There's just something about temping vaginally that weirds me out, lol.

Me too, but since I don't temp at all it's not an issue. LOL Having bouncy temps isn't the worst thing in the world though, as long as you can still see your thermal shift. When it interferes with recognizing the shift, then it's a problem.
