I rarely get Peak to show up and stay on my chart. I don't get many Dry days Post O, and creamy is my "usual"... so I don't know how to judge peak!

Just realized these don't show O. crap. This cycle it's the second of the two slippery/ewcm days after the dry day. Last cycle it was guessed as the first of the two slippery/ewcm days.

I AM taking progesterone this cycle (40mg per day topically) and the cycle of my chemical It did give me peak (I had several dry days post O). My cm is coming in rather large gobs right now so it's not hard to judge what it is.. but it's not slippery at all (TMI: very boogery feeling and looking) and I'm feeling extremely wet.. but again.. not slippery.

I know the rule, but I just don't know what to do when it's telling me no peak cycle after cycle? If I was supposed to use the progesterone as someone else said they did P+ X # of days I'd never get to start it! Is it a sigh that my follies might not be healthy enough so I don't dry up?

Well, you don't have to go completely dry after Peak - but it should still be a drastic change to feeling much drier than before. I wouldn't call a change from "slippery" to "extremely wet" a drastic drying up.

I wouldn't feel comfortable saying either of those charts shows a good Peak.

A lack of Peak can indicate a problem with follicular development, yes. Recent illness, stress, medication changes can do that though - even for a few cycles after the fact.

Just so I get this right, you're taking progesterone throughout the cycle instead of just after ovulation? Is this the first cycle with progesterone?

Nooo!!!!!, I was supposed to start it 24hrs after a positive opk. But I didn't feel comfortable with that since I wasn't temping to see a rise. So I started it 48hrs post with just a PM dose. (was the first dry day post O). And I'm supposed to use it until 14dpo or 10weeks pregnant (unless told otherwise by another dr). And yes, first cycle.

I'm much wetter than usual this cycle post O, I guess best description would be I feel like AF is going to start any second.. I always feel very very wet just before she comes.

That unusual wetness is very suspicious to me. I really would not feel comfortable saying you've ovulated if you're feeling so much wetness like that.

If you have not ovulated this cycle and have started the progesterone - it will usually (depending on the dosage) just mimic a Luteal Phase for you, and you'll have a withdrawal bleed when you stop it.

I had all the symptoms of O too. Headache the day of the pos opk. Major ovary pain 18hours later... and within 12hrs of that pain my boobs were heavy and sore (which is a given post O for me). I waited for that heavy boob feeling to come before I started the progesterone. While they stopped hurting after i started the cream, they're still heavy like they would be post O.

Guess we'll see what the hpt says this weekend.

Just fyi I'm not arguing Shawna.. just disappointed. In the last 7 charts, I've had peak once.. and it just happened to be the cycle we caught the egg and then lost it. That of course, makes me worry that I'm not Oing, or not Oing well enough... I need one of us to get a job, I think we might need a fertility monitor *sigh*
