Usually I let the chart do it for me... but I'm trying to figure it out without letting them put the O in from the opk.
This is my chart.
These are the opks
Assuming I stay dry feeling tomorrow (and for the rest of today, it's still early lol), would you suggest the 21st or 22nd for the actual O day?

I think Ovusoft may define the CM Peak differently than I would from a BOM perspective. I would mark the CM Peak as the last day with a slippery or lubricative vaginal sensation, so CD 21. Ovulation generally occurs on Peak day or during the 2 drier days afterward.
yeah I love the charting programs, but sometimes I feel like they're trying to cookie cutter me.
If I had to best guess it for O, I'd say the 22nd, but the wee hours of the morning. There was a very drastic (for me) change in my CM (and my cervix, I don't check it.. but ahem.. DH tends to hit it more frequently in the latter half of my cycle.. *ow*). It went from nice clear and very slippery and stretchy to a more sticky cloudy type (it still stretched, but my CM tends to do that at all times).
I just need my boobs to start hurting. LOL. My Dr wants me to start the progesterone as soon as I can... but I don't want to start it too early.

so of course today my cm is nothing like the nothing I had yesterday. today it's slippery.. almost like arousal fluid. Doesn't stretch, but it's slippery as hell. I'm not aroused, so it has to be fertile. I haven't had another positive opk either.
So now I don't have a clue what is happening. I'm so frustrated I could cry. I have no freaking idea when to start the progesterone cream or even if I should.

I don't have any advice, but I wanted to send some support. It sucks when the body doesn't do what it's supposed to. Hopefully it'll be obvious if you O'd soon, if if not, I hope your body drops an egg ASAP.

Ditto!
September has been a frustrating month for lots of women, including myself!
Don't start the progesterone yet then. Gotta consider this potentially fertile. The downside with trying to identify O with mucus on an Ovusoft chart is that the categories for mucus don't quite tell me enough about the pattern.
yup. Now I'm starting to wonder if it was left overs from Sunday night that made me have the slippery clear cm.
So far today I'm dry. I feel wet, but not at all slippery, but no CM to speak of. And I've had to pee more times than a human should already today, so it's not for lacking of opportunities to look for it.

Usually seminal fluid the next day will leave a wet sensation, but not slippery or lubricative (except immediately after BDing, like the first 30 minutes or so). I'd err on the side of it being CM.
Well then I'm fetile all month. I go completely dry post dtd clean up, but the next morning I've got tonnes of crap coming out of me.
I give up, I'll just say screw it and enjoying a quite home for 60% of the year.

Oh it's normal for some women to have infertile discharge all the time outside of the fertile phase, but a slippery sensation is usually CM. Unless you have it the entire cycle, but it doesn't sound like that's what you're saying.
