Thanks ladies! I am really happy about adding baby number 3 to our family! We thought we were being careful and we DTD on day 21 of my cycle and I am pretty sure that is the day we conceived so I must have ovulated late

Were you charting so you could tell whether CD21 was fertile or infertile; or just going by what day it was?

I was going by CM and checking my cervix, but I haven't been temping regularly. My CM for that night wasn't EW so I had thought I ovulated already. I had a 31 day cycle the month before so I asssumed I would have another 31 day cycle so I thought day 21 would be a safe day. Thinking back I also conceived my son very late in my cyle

Well, if you ever find yourself with serious need to avoid - an NFP refresher class on the rules might be a good idea! Not all methods require temps either, if that is a nuisance for you.
