Do you agree with the O date?

I was thinking the day prior to that seemed like the more likely of days...

Adding, I'm hoping someone who uses Billings can answer this.

I think all this time I may be judging my sensation wrong. I figured dry meant my girlie bits felt like they lacked all moisture. But now that I've rechecked online, that's not the case.

So (TMI) today for example, I have absolutely no cm present, when I wipe, there is nothing, the tip sticks to me ever so slightly. If I check for my cervix, it will be difficult due to lack of CM.

I rarely have true dry days prior to O after AF... but when I do, they're the same as post O... when I've moved to creamy cm, even if there is no cm at the time I'm wiping, the tp glides a little smoother.

So.. I've been doing this wrong all the time haven't I? Today's really a dry/dry day isn't it?

It doesn't change the fact I feel they have my O date one day too far ahead.

Well, it's hard to interpret this from a Billings perspective because that chart just doesn't tell me enough about the CM sensation (the CM categories are too limited, the observation is made differently, and because the temperature sign is meant to compensate for that).

That said, over 50 years of research on the relationship between CM and ovulation shows that ovulation usually occurs:

On the last day with a slippery sensation (Peak day), OR during the first 2 days after Peak (while the dry up is happening).

Charting, even with OPK's and temperatures and cervix signs, does not tell us the exact day of ovulation. Only a daily ultrasound can tell us that. Charting gives us a close estimate.

So I agree with the possible O day that Ovusoft gave you.

Sensation with Billings is not measured with toilet paper at all. Wiping is not part of the observation. Vaginal sensation is observed while you're walking around, going about your normal daily activities. This will differ from what TCOYF and Ovusoft is based on; their categories for mucus are consistent with what you'd find using toilet paper observations.
