Hi there!! My name is Angie and I'm brand new to NFP! We are actually currently using condoms but I HATE them and would really like this as an alternative! I have a 7 year old little girl from a previous marriage and that beautiful boy in my siggie turned 3 months old last Tuesday! I was an active member of the TTC board early last year and now I am a member of the Dec 2013 Playroom!
I had some BP issues during and after pregnancy, Pre-Eclampsia turned into full blown Eclampsia and Congestive Heart Failure and my OB doesn't want to put me on any BC that contains estrogen until we get my BP under control. At one point, when my son was a week old, my BP was up to 189/109 and I was immediately admitted!
We aren't DTD all that often right now because we have a 3 month old and because I really hate the condoms! I'd like to try to put some spark back in our sex life!! I just started back on FF but I absolutely DO NOT want to get pregnant again. I have a fairly normal 28-30 day cycle which returned at 5 weeks pp. I'm not currently temping, should I do that or can I just avoid during my fertile week? Any suggestions or advice is welcome! I look forward to getting to know you ladies!!!
Are you hoping to do NFP or FAM? Welcome to the group. I do NFP personally, BOM...sort of. I used to do BOM. I guess I do sort of lazy BOM now. I totally follow the rules, but my chart wouldn't be something I could share with somebody else. BOM is awesome though, doesn't require temping, which is hard with a young baby. There are lots of methods, make sure to check out the FAQ.
