i am 9 wks pp. my dr put me on something for 10 days 5 weeks ago to start my period prior to putting my iud in (previous af problems) well iw ould like to know if nfp or fam works with the iud or not really thank you ladies

How exactly were you hoping to use charting with the IUD? Chart and avoid the fertile avoid time, with IUD as backup for the infertile times? Or just to monitor your health? Just trying to understand your question.

I did already answer it in the other thread, but will just repeat here in case anyone else is reading. Yes, you can use FAM with the IUD as long as it's the Paraguard (the non-hormonal one). The Mirena contains synthetic hormones which will affect your signs of fertility and make it impossible to accurately chart.

thank u for repsonding i'm getting the mirana. i was just wondering so i could get used to my cycles and my body better but i see ur point abt hormnes and now feel really dumb for asking. but thank u again
