So I've been tracking temperatures on FF (sorry... ) and my last cycle had a luteal phase of 12 days... this cycle was 11 days... is there a normal range? Is 11 days too short?

In other news... I've been off Depo since Nov. 2006 and my cycles are finally 29 days!!!!!!!!!!!! They've never been "normal" in my whole life!! (I was a 50 days, 20 days, 30 days kinda person before)...

My CCLI textbook says the luteal phase is normally 12-14 days. But sometimes chould be shorter or longer by a day or two.

A normal LP is 11-16 days - it can vary from woman to woman. However, it should remain fairly consistent in the same woman - that is, you shouldn't see it vary in length from month to month by more than a day or two.

You bet, that's one of my very favorite things about NFP!

No need to apologise for using FF!!! I use it as well, just because i find it easier to have my data all displayed in the one place, in the way it is displayed on FF.... I've been using NFP long enough now that i'm able to predict ovulation accurately, so don't take into account what FF has to say (though it's always been right for me lol)

ANYWAY, there i go getting away from the subject.. My luteal phase is always 14 days.. only times it's been different is when I'm pregnant LOL

From what I have read in TCOYF, anything less than 10 days is considered to be short. Anything above that is usually good!
