Well, last night was our first night of official NFP, I guess you could say. Last month, I was observing and figuring things out. Finally, last night, I figured we were in the clear to go ahead with it.
It's a weird feeling to just have to trust things. The one and only other time we've DTD without any sort of contraception or withdrawal or anything, I got pregnant! I was a little nervous about going for it since we aren't ready for another one yet, but I'm just going to have to trust that I'm charting correctly.
Did any one else feel really weird about it when starting out?? I feel like it's going to take a few cycles to become confident in what I'm doing. I keep feeling like I'm going to go buy a HPT in a few weeks!

It's entirely normal to feel weird about it! Once you see a few periods come and go without pregnancy, your confidence will grow. I was a little nervous about it at first too, but I had my instructor to walk me through it to make sure we were charting and applying the rules correctly for avoiding pregnancy. She was able to point out a few times when we *thought* we understood the rules, but we didn't. I was sure grateful to have her!
