It's ok and it's normal. The mucus plug that seals off your cervix is extra thick and protective during pregnancy (as opposed to the plug that forms after menstration and after ovulation during a normal cycle). Because it's so thick, it's constantly renewing itself...and so some of it gets sloughed off in the process.
