I got my period back and have started taking my BBT again but I'm still breastfeeding. The past few days, I've been waking up very engorged and also with a BBT of around 100F. If I take my temperature later in the day, I don't have a fever, so I don't think I'm sick. Is the engorgement causing my body temperature to rise, thus making the BBT useless?

Figured out why it was doing this! The battery on the thermometer was low! Only the stupid thing is designed to not give a low battery symbol until after it's so low that it can complete a reading--so you get a few very inaccurate readings beforehand.
