What CD? (Sorry if this has been asked recently.) I always assumed I O on CD14, but I am finding that's not the case. I do have several days of EWCM before then, so we can't BD for quite a while. Anyone else have this issue?
Sounds pretty normal. I'd say the "average" amount of abstinence for women with regular cycles is probably 6 - 12 days or so (while mucus is present and for 3 full days after it dries up). Of course, every woman is different and the length of everyone's fertile phase is different too!
But for me personally, it varies. I have PCOS, so my earliest ovulation on record was CD23 and my latest was CD 71. It usually occurs somewhere in the middle! My body gears up to ovulate multiple times before it actually goes through with it, but the rules of the BOM accommodate that so we can identify times of infertility in between those little ovulation "warm-ups."
I had NO idea that I did this until I started charting, but I've consistantly ovulated the last few cycles at day 17-20. However what's funny is the month we conceived Caleb two years ago, was day 14!! How weird is that?
